8 days/7 nights from Marrakech to Marrakech - desert feeling and imperial cities
Day 1: Marrakech - El Jadida - Casablanca
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad, then depart for Casablanca the economic capital of Morocco, via Al Jadida.We will take lunch in the coastal town of Al Jadida and then take the last part of the road to Casablanca, Arrival in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
After an early breakfast,you can choose to have an optional tour of the Hassan II mosque, said to be one of the largest mosques in the world, then depart for Chefchaouen On the way, stop in Rabat, the capital and residence of the king. Lunch there and time to enjoy the beautiful coastal town. After lunch we continue to Chefchaouen, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Arrival in the afternoon, dinner and overnight at the Riad.Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes
After your breakfast in the riad our authentic journey will start towards Volubilis crossing via Wazan and other rif villages, in Volubilis we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroocan history. After the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes where we will stop for lunch and see the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail´s shrine. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.Day 4: Meknes - Fes - Sightseeingtour with local guide
After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to Fes. There you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fes. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
Day 5: Fes - Midelt - Azrou - Ziz-Valley - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga - night in the bivouac
After breakfast we are leaving Fes early in the morning and going to Merzouga, passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in a small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Midelt to arrive to the small town of Rich and later Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. We drive you to your hotel for some relax at the pool and in the dunes. In the early evening, before sunset, you'll ride the camels to spend the night in desert under the stars, in traditional berber nomad tents. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac.Day 6: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Tinghir - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can have shower and breakfast.After breakfast, we'll leave Merzouga and drive via Erfoug, Jorf with its ancient irrigation system, Touroug and Tinjedad to Tinghir, where we head to the Todra valley and the Todra Gorges. Lunch at the spot, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Then we continue and have several stops along the Dades Valley. You will see the „monkey fingers valley“ and the Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight in the panoramic hotel.Day 7: Dades Gorge - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Tiz´n´Tichka - Marrakech
After breakfast, we leave Dades Gorge and drive through the Rose Valley to Ouarzazate. You will see the beautiful Kasbah Amridil, located near Skoura, and many beautiful spots on the way. fter a short visit of Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, we will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (under UNESCO protection), visit the Kasbah and the old village. Ait Ben Haddou is a most impressive Kasbah and a well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here such as "Gladiator" or "Lawrence of Arabia". After lunch at the spot, we leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains.. Departure to Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Ticha passage, arrival in Marrakech at around 5:30 pm. Dinner and overnight at the riad.Day 8: Marrakech – Sightseeingtour with local guide
Our guide will pick you up from your Riad/hotel in Marrakech at 9:30 a.m then This enlightening guided day tour will include the most stunning sites of Marrakech as you are touring the city with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. The tour will start from the meeting point to the oldest section of Ben Youssef where you will explore the Medrassa Ben Youssef, the largest theological college in the Maghreb and an outstanding achievement of the Moorish architecture. Then, you will head to The museum of Marrakech which was the palace of the Moroccan defense minister in the 19th century, where the carved stucco are among the most intricate in the palaces of Marrakech. The day tour will continue through the alleys of the Medina and visit the most interesting handicrafts quarters such as the leather auction, tinsmiths, and coppersmiths. We join the big square of Jemaa El Fna, the city´s main square. The tour will continue deep to the Bahia palace, a haven of shady courtyards, colorful cedar ceiling, blue mosaic and beautiful quarters. Afterwards, we go to the new city to visit the botanical gardens of Jack Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent before we stroll through the labyrinthine streets back to your riad. There end of the tour and of our service.
